Screencast Yourself: Jing Presentations for Educators

Description of Session: Tired of giving the same directions 100 times? Do you wish you could record yourself and save it forever? With Tech Smith’s Jing, this wish becomes a reality. In this session, learn to use the free version of Jing to create up to three minute video tutorials and presentations for your students. The videos you create can be linked to or embedded on your teacher webpage, saving yourself the headache of always having to repeat yourself and directions. Take time to play and create using Jing today.

Materials Necessary:
Flashdrive, Dropbox, or CD-RW
Headset with microphone
Student Samples/End Products: Jing Videos

Wow, you are amazing! Renee is a true teacher as she was able to continue effective learning despite many technological errors. Though she was prepared before hand, it still failed, which is not a reflection on the ELA Technology team. Great training!
